graindient ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app and website.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal data. graindient is designed with privacy in mind:
- No account required: You don't need to create an account or provide personal information to use graindient.
- No tracking for advertising: We do not track your activity across apps or websites, and we do not use data for advertising or profiling.
- Local storage only: Your saved gradients and preferences are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
In-App Purchases
If you make a purchase through the iOS app:
- Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.
- We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and restore purchases across devices. RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase data. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
- Your purchase status is stored locally on your device to unlock features.
Photos and Media
When you save a wallpaper:
- The app requests permission to save images to your photo library.
- Images are saved directly to your device. We do not upload, access, or store your photos.
Analytics
We use our own self-hosted analytics to understand how the app is used and improve the product. We do not use third-party tracking services. All analytics data is anonymous and cannot be linked to individual users.
Third-Party Services
The app may use the following third-party services:
- Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases
- RevenueCat: For purchase management and subscription handling
Data Security
Since we don't collect personal data, there's minimal risk to your privacy. All data (saved gradients, preferences, purchase status) is stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms.
Children's Privacy
graindient does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages and does not require any personal information to use.
